PEACE CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS MARCH 2020
- All in-person gatherings have been canceled until further notice. This includes Sunday morning worship, Lent midweek gatherings and Holy Week services, Bible Study, Contemplative Prayer, and all committee and council meetings.
- The community meals will continue as carryout only events. Meals are being offered for pickup only the third Thursday of each month, 5:30-6:30 P.M.
- The Baby Shop will offer items for pick up only on the last Tuesday of each month from 10 A.M.- noon. During that time, persons in need of baby items or clothing may come to the red church door and let their requests be made known. A staff person will bring the desired items to the door.
When we say, “Welcoming! Affirming! Loving!” we mean it.
We welcome and reflect the cultural, ethnic, and racial diversity of the Heights area and beyond.
We affirm all people in their walk of life — singles, families, and the LGBT community.
We love because God first loves us regardless of addictions, physical or mental health, imprisonment, socio-economic circumstances, or anything else that too often causes division.
Peace Lutheran Church is a new congregation of the ELCA, yet offers a combined 240 years of shared ministry from both Bethlehem and Hope Lutheran Churches.
